Maphorisa rant: ‘I’m the reason why artists get good deals’

South African musician DJ Maphorisa — real name Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe — felt the need to get something off his chest on X last night and that he did. Taking to the app which is formerly know as Twitter, he made a series of tweets regarding how he believes that he is the one who has opened doors for many other artists in the SA music industry.

Naturally there were those in the comment section who accused him of having an unnecessarily big ego. This however, did not stop him from making more claims.

MAPHORISA GOES ON A X RANT ABOUT BEING THE BEST IN SA
Local hitmaker DJ Maphorisa is arguably one of the biggest things in music right now. He has produced hit after hit and everything he touches basically turns to gold.
