‘It’s cake and chicken’: SAns puzzled by Uncle Waffles’ KFC burger

SOUTH AFRICANS ARE DIVIDED OVER UNCLE WAFFLES BURGER
While fans of the BET-nominated artist Uncle Waffles have defended the burger, many were confused by the latest addition to the KFC menu.

Social media users @unclescrooch and his partner were the latest South Africans to share their reviews on Twitter.

In the video, the pair revealed that they like the packaging, the sauce is a barbeque and its unlike anything they’ve ever had.

“It’s like cake and chicken. The texture of the chicken it’s not like the one you make at home.”

They also revealed that they can’t taste the cheese, it’s weird and while they don’t hate, they’d rather have it once a month.

The burger consists of a KFC chicken filet dunked in maple chipotle sauce, topped with cheese and served in between two warm waffles.

@AycoAM: “I feel like this was a genuine review. I’m willing to give it a try, now that I’ve lowered my expectations.”

@katlemkh: “KFC is actually eating with this Uncle Waffles burger because people STILL want to try it even though the reviews have been so bad.”

@jusgomo: “I’m going to be honest about this burger, it’s not trash but it’s definitely not worth my money again.”

@collenyiko: “This is paid, and everyone is campaigning against her. Whoever is paying for this is a horrible person.”

@SekkieMars: “Let’s be honest for a minute. All the reviews (good & bad) of the waffle’s burger is actually working in KFC favour. The burger is marketing itself at this point. I’m desperate to try it now.”

( Tina Jaxa) Priscilla from ‘Generations’, where is she now?

TINA JAXA: THE SILVER SCREEN STAR
In 1993, Tina Jaxa burst onto the scene with her debut on the SABC1 soapie, ‘Generations.’ Her portrayal of Priscilla Mthembu quickly made her a household name. South Africans couldn’t get enough of the drama, and Tina became a fan favourite for her compelling performance.

‘Generations’ was the platform that launched her into stardom. After her successful stint on ‘Generations,’ she took on a new challenge by joining the cast of ‘Isidingo’ as Lorraine Dhlomo. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. A disagreement with a line producer led to her departure from the show.

However, Tina’s talent shone through, and she made her mark as Eve Sisulu in the e.tv sitcom ‘Madam & Eve.’ Her versatility as an actress continued to impress audiences as she ventured into shows like ‘Khululeka,’ ‘Charlie Jade,’ ‘Montana,’ ‘Chandies,’ ‘Stokvel,’ and the second season of ‘Intersexions.’

A COLORFUL CAREER
Tina didn’t limit herself to television. She also ventured into feature films, showcasing her acting prowess in movies like ‘Oddball Hall,’ ‘The Bird Can’t Fly,‘ ‘I Now Pronounce You Black and White,’ ‘Beyond Return,’ and ‘Wedding.’

Her talent knows no bounds, transcending from the small screen to the big screen.

Tina Jaxa’s acting journey doesn’t stop there. She’s graced the theatre stage with her presence, taking on roles in productions like ‘Skewe Sirkel,’ directed by Marthinus Basson; ‘Rygrond,’ directed by Charles Fourie; and ‘Soweto,’ directed by Phyllis Klotz.

PERSONAL LIFE AND LEGACY
Her ability to adapt to various performance platforms has solidified her status as a versatile actress. After a hiatus, Tina made a triumphant return to the small screen in 2017, debuting on E.tv’s ‘Rhythm City’ as Andiswa, a small-time criminal entangled with David Genaro.

Her return was met with excitement from her fans who had missed her on-screen presence. In 2000, Tina Jaxa tied the knot with engineer Prosper Mkwaiwa in a lavish ceremony.

However, their marriage eventually ended in divorce. Tina’s personal life, much like her career, has seen its ups and downs, but her resilience and talent continue to shine.

SOAP OPERA SENSATION
As we celebrate Tina Jaxa’s illustrious career, we can’t help but anticipate what exciting projects she’ll take on next. One thing is for sure: Tina Jaxa’s legacy in South African entertainment is set in stone, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this remarkable actress.

Connie Ferguson shows off her pillar of strength, calling them ‘My Rock’.

Connie Ferguson showed her pillar of strength, saying she was her rock.

It’s been a tough two years for Connie since the death of her husband, Shona.

The two stars had been very close buddies; most fans called them a power couple.

It was clear that Shaona was Connie’s rock during his days, and nobody could doubt it.

He was a caring father to their children and, above all, a loving and present husband to Connie.

Shona would tear off whatever Connie wanted, trying to provide what a man he was.

Since his death, Connie struggled to fill the gap. Indeed, nobody can replace Shina, but at least she had found another rock.
