The 31-year-old actress was born on 13 September 1992 in Johannesburg. No doubt she looks younger than her age. Over the years, she has wowed many with her banging body and youthful looks that have often thrust her into top trends.

The bubbly actress also pulled lavish birthday celebrations at the Rockets Beach Club in Umhlanga, Durban. Junior De Rocka Sphectacula and DJ Naves were on the decks.

CAREER
With an illustrious career spanning years, Nelisiwe Sibiya has fast become the darling of small screens. She had her shot to fame with her on-screen character in 2016 after being cast in Lockdown.

The actress had her thrust into the limelight with her lead role in the e.tv medical drama series Durban Gen as Dr Mbali Mthethwa-Dlamini.

In the backdrop of the drama series cancellation, Nelisiwe Sibiya joined Umkhokha: The Curse as Nompande. She has been dupped the next big thing on small screens.

While famous South African soccer fan Mama Joy — real name Joy Chauke — is currently backing the boys in green and gold all the way in France, her soccer team Royal AM is gearing up to face the boys in black and yellow — Kaizer Chiefs. Mama Joy, who has been sharing all sorts of exciting updates from her trip to France, took to X to wish Royal AM good luck.


 

 

In the comment section, bitter Orlando Pirates supporters once again asked her why she had abandoned their team to support Royal Am — questions which she simply ignored.

FROM FRANCE WITH LOVE: MAMA JOY SUPPORTS ROYAL AM FROM A DISTANCE
Mama Joy became famous for her enthusiastic support of local soccer team Orlando Pirates.

She later ruffled quite a bit of feathers when she switched teams and started supporting Shaun “MaMkhize’s” Royal AM.

Despite this, she continues to show the team love.

While she is currently putting her super fan skills behind the Springboks who are currently participating in the Rugby World Cup, she didn’t miss the opportunity to wish Royal AM well.

Taking to X, she predicted a 3-0 victory for the team against Kaizer Chiefs who they are set to face on Saturday 16 September.

Additionally, she became a news anchor for ANNZ, a news channel, in December 2014.

‘Uzalo’ confirms Wiseman Mncube, Nkanyiso Mchunu’s departures

WISEMAN MNCUBE LEAVES ‘UZALO’
IOL reports that Umkhokha: The Curse star Nkanyiso Mchunu and Shaka Ilembe actor Wiseman Mncube have left the SABC1 soapie, Uzalo.

The publication adds that Stained Glass Production have thanked the actors for their contribution to the show in a statement:


 
“We’ve had the privilege of witnessing Wiseman Mncube and Nkanyiso Mchunu’s incredible journey on Uzalo.

“Their commitment to their craft, their ability to breathe life into their characters, and the chemistry they brought to the screen have enriched our show in ways words can’t express,” said series producer King David Mukwevho.”

Mzansi Magic has confirmed that Mncube and Mchunu have secured roles on My Brother’s Keeper, which will replace the award-winning telenovela Gomora.

NKANYISO MCHUNU: NEXT ROLE
The Uzalo actors Wiseman Mncube and Nkanyiso Mchunu are joined by Generations: The Legacy star Zola Nombona, The Estate star S’dumo Mtshali, Smoke and Mirrors star Lindani Nkosi, Uzalo star Nelisa Mchunu and Scandal! star Rosemary Zimu.

Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment channels at M-Net revealed in a statement to TshisaLIVE:

My Brother’s Keeper will premiere on Monday, 23 October at 19:30.

Cassper Nyovest pays homeage to archrival AKA in new song

Rapper Cassper Nyovest has released his highly-anticipated album titled Solomon and in it he pays tribute to his late archenemy Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.

The Company hitmaker was gunned down in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) in February this year. No arrests have been made.

 

 

CASSPER NYOVEST PAYS TRIBUTE TO AKA
To honour his rival, Cassper penned the song Candlelight, where he reminisces about his interactions with AKA. He also expresses his sorrow at the untimely death of the rapper who was also affectionately known as Supa Mega.

“This time is for the legacy. I don’t do it just to do it, this is therapy. And if this sh*t don’t exist then we develop it. And when I heard it I was just as hurt as the Megacy, uh.

“Man, our battle was the highlight. I was confused when you came and gave me high fives. A very important featurе in my life. And you still shining, yeah, we see you in thе starlights, yeah,” raps Cassper.

Cassper also talks about visiting the Forbes to convey his condolences after AKA’s passing and also jokes that his father, Tony Forbes, may just be cooler than the late rapper.

In July this year, Tony shared an image of him and Cassper, subsequently thanking him for the support.

REGRETS AND MUSIC
During his interview on The Episode podcast in July, Cassper opened up about the impact of his AKA’s passing on him, regrets concerning their beef and them working making music together.

Asked about their beef and if he had any regrets, Cassper responded that he does, however, he acknowledges that they were both living in the moment.

The After 10 rapper shared that he had hoped him and AKA would get into a boxing ring to iron things out once and for all. He also shared that they have unreleased music together.

“I thought we were going to get into the boxing ring and handle it there. I thought after that we would be OK and make music. Well, we do have music together that people have never heard. We made a few records together
