The muso recently turned a year older, and his mother showered him with expensive gifts that left Mzansi impressed.In the backdrop of his birthday, the star took to Instagram to share a series of posts showing off his birthday presents. His mother is undoubtedly the plug and has the bling to show for it.

Busta 929 posted: “A special birthday gift from my mum🙈❤️,she’s the one who taught me all these designer clothes,I’m happy she’s still maintaining it,but I can’t believe that she still know my sizes,wow🙈❤️ I’m impressed ❤️,thank you very much my queen❤️,I love you.”

The muso has it that his slaying mother introduced him to designer clothes and has often blessed him with some of the finest brands that cost a fortune. On his birthday, the star received Lacoste clothes, which don’t come anywhere cheap.Busta 929 went on to wear some of the clothes he got from his mother. However, he didn’t reveal the other clothes but made it known that his mother had always blessed him with designer clothes.

He went on to reveal that she is the one who introduced him to designer clothes and has been slaying for years.

Busta 929 turned a year older, and Mzansi was more than puzzled by his age. Taking to Instagram, the muso posted: “Baba 92🙏🏾, happy birthday mfanaka, I’m very proud of you poi,keep on pushing, 🥂 to more life and wealth,stay strong.🙏🏾.”

In the backdrop of his birthday post, Mzansi connected the dots about his age he has always kept under wraps. The muso was born on 19 September 1992 in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa.

Sowetan reported on Thursday, 21 September that a R10 million fraud case led to award-winning singer Burna Boy’s concert cancellation in Johanneburg.

The publication adds that Sedote Nwachukwu, who is the CEO of Ternary Media Group (the organisers of the show) is accused of stealing R10 million from the company.

A police statement that Sowetan obtained for a case of fraud was reportedly opened by his business partner Gregory Wings at the Sandton police station.

It is believed Nwachukwu’s pending legal proceedings led to the 23 September concert to be moved to 16 December.

Kymoni Jackson, who is spokesperson from Ternary Media Group told the publication that the reason for the cancellation was due to the alleged R10 million theft.

“He [Nwachukwu] stole R10 million; that’s why we had to call it off. He lied to everyone that was part of the event and his investor Gregory Wings. We are willing to refund people, however tickets are still valid for the next show. Burna Boy was very excited to come [to SA] but we had to deal with this internal issue of Mr Nwachuku [first]…” said Jackson, who added that Burna Boy is looking forward to come and perform in December.

IOL revealed on Thursday that Burna Boy’s 16 December has officially been canned.

Burna Boy was not available for a comment at the time of publishing this article.
“Burnaboy’s management has issued a statement stating that his show which was pushed to Dec 16th, has been cancelled & ticketholders will be refunded,” said Mlu

Mphela reports that the singer’s concert was cancelled due to: “inability for the promoters to fulfil their contractual, financial, production and technical obligations.”

“Production vendors had apparently not been paid on time. Management conceded that the agreed production standard needed for the venue size could not be achieved. TicketPro has seized all sale of tickets to the concert,” he added.

The singer’s latest cancellation comes after reports began to circulate a few weeks ago that there were internal issues between organisers and stadium management that put the concert into doubt.

The September teasers indicate that the former Scandal! actor Hungani Ndlovu, who joined the soapie as the second Tbose Maputla might return on Thursday, 28 September.

The teaser reads: “The Maputlas are left curious when a family member unexpectedly comes home.”

Viewers of the soapie have been wondering when the actor Hungani Ndlovu will return to the show since he ‘left’ on 28 July.

Audiences also praised Ndlovu for his role after the SABC1 soapie Skeem Saam reached over 5 million viewers in July.

‘SKEEM SAAM’: CONFIRMS HIS RETURN
The educational soapie Skeem Saam confirmed on their Twitter account in July that actor Hungani Ndlovu, who joined the show in season 12 has not left the show.

This is after Ndlovu’s character flew to Cape Town while his brother, Leeto Maputla (played by Eric Macheru) went to Johannesburg.

Viewers of the soapie were also unsure if the popular character went back to Singapore or has gone to Cape Town for work.

It is unclear at this stage if the actor is permanently leaving the SABC1 soapie or taking a break after the first Tbose (Cornet Mamabolo) exited the show in 2021.
