Ndlozi Asks Lindiwe Sisulu An Embarrassing Question As Noxolo Grootboom Retires At 60 Years

Economic Freedom Fighters Commissar Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has asked a damning question to minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu following the retirement of Noxolo Grootboom.

Lindiwe Sisulu who is 66 years old faced a backlash after she commented about the 60 year old veteran SABC news anchor Noxolo Grootboom who retired on Tuesday 30 March 2021.

“Noxolo, you have been exemplary to your peers and the nation at large. You left a mark and are now passing on a golden microphone to your fellow news readers,” said Lindiwe Sisulu.

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi however asked minister Sisulu an embarrassing question about when is she considering to retire herself and also pass on the golden microphone to younger politicians.

Ndlozi claimed Sisulu has been a minister for 20 years now.

“Mama Sisulu, when are you passing on the golden microphone? You have been a minister since 2001, that’s 20 years,” said Ndlozi.

Some Twitter users however reacted to Ndlozi’s question with sarcasm as they argue that in terms of politics, Lindiwe Sisulu is still very “young”.

“Mama Sisulu is still very young Dr Ndlozi, she is only 66 years old,”

“Our politicians do no retire,” some argued.
