The Dream Team was first nominated at the South African Hip Hop Awards in 2013. Though the group was formed in 2011, they shot to fame in 2013, after the release of independent album, “The Blow Up.”

The sudden passing of controversial amaBhaca chief Madzikane II Thandisizwe Diko – husband to Cyril Ramaphosa’s now suspended spokesperson, Khusela Diko – following a short illness on Sunday afternoon, 21 February, has left the amaBhaca tribe and his loved ones in shock.

THANDISIZWE DIKO WAS ALLEGEDLY BEING TREATED FOR PANCREATITIS

The exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be confirmed, however The South African has been reliably informed that Diko was receiving treatment for pancreatitis-related complications at an East London-based private hospital at the time of his death.

The family has confirmed the death and expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support they have received from the public. They have declined to comment on the cause of death with family spokesperson Lumko Mtimde telling Newsroom Afrika that it is not advisable to do so, but revealing the deceased had gone to the hospital for stomach/abdominal pains.

THANDISIZWE DIKO – BELOVED HUSBAND, FATHER AND SON

Outside of the coverage of Thandisizwe’s lavish royal wedding to Khusela Diko in 2018, as well as the controversial tender awarded to his company – Royal Bhaca Projects – in 2020 by the Gauteng Health Department, very little is known about him, such as where he went to school and what some of his life milestones have been.

The couple was married in a two-day royal wedding in December 2018 beginning first at Qokolweni, Khusela’s home, later moving on to the Elundzini Great Place at Ncutheni village in KwaBhaca Eastern Cape.

Some of those in attendance at the nuptials included then Minister of Public Works now Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi; then Deputy Minister of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Obed Bapela and royals AmaMpondo aseNyandeni Queen and Tina Madosini Ndamase.

Thandisizwe Diko said at the time that the Bhaca people were an integral part of building South Africa.

DIKO A KING TO THE AMABHACA TRIBE?

The deceased has claimed, on numerous occasions, to be the king of the amaBhaca people, seated in the Umzimvubu region near Mt Frere.

He has recently taken a break from his travel with bestie Vusi Nova to give the people a life update.

Be afraid of losing yourself trying to please everyone around you.”Fans commented on his rant on Twitter and they have been questioning if he is going through a rough patch with his hubby Mohale again. Some have been sending him love and light as he is seemingly going through a tough time.

Shauwn Mkhize has taken to social media to boast about Lasizwe Dambuza’s sudden glow! The YouTuber and comedian has found himself a new bae and thanks to cupid’s arrow, he is glowing! He bumped into businesswoman Shawun Mkhizwe who let us know that baby boy is blessed to find love which, according to her, is a rare find. “Guess who I bumped into. He is so in love. Everything that comes out of his mouth is love. Can you see it in these photos? Oooh, I’m happy for you, enjoy it. It’s hard to find love these days,” wrote Shauwn on IG. She posted a series of picture with the comedian and influencer looking all sorts of happy. Lasizwe might be completely besotted but he is daunted by the fact that his relationship might turn into a long distance relationship. Taking to Twitter to rant about how much he is going to miss his lover, he revealed that he has returned to the Mother City.

This is heartbreaking for Lasizwe because he is based in Johannesburg and cannot just pack his bags and leave because his life is in JHB. “I think my problem in this situation that is making me even more sad is that I didn’t plan for him to leave so soon and carry on with his life in CPT. I was so stuck in this fairytale that we were going to be glue an paper and he would move in with me and start a new life,” Tweeted Lasizwe.

Lasizwe is smitten by his bae because he was the first man to love him openly, “It’s only hitting me now. He is gone. This is the first guy who was not ashamed to love me publicly, and now he is gone.”

Whatever heartache he might be feeling, Lasizwe always finds it in his heart to gush over his new bae, “Honestly, I have the best boyfriend ever! I’ve been so emotional and sick these past few days and you can see shem he is really trying his best to hold my hand thru it all. I am so blessed to have him.”

Lasiwe admitted that he has been a side bae for a long time before meeting someone who loved him openly. For a long time he had been linked to actor Cedric Fourie after they were spotted together n numerous occasions. Cedric denied being gay however labelled himself as an ally to the gay community.

The rapper announced on social media that she’s officially an actress after nailing her role in the movie-like ad.

She shared the ad video on social media, and fans congratulate her over nailing the lead role.
