Having a child does not only drain you financially, there are also a lot of emotional phases that one goes through. The best thing to do is have people close to you who will show you support and help you with the process until you become strong.

South African actress and singer Simphiwe Ngema recently took to her social media pages to express some of her frustrations and struggles of motherhood. She expressed how she has hardly slept as her baby Tiyana was not feeling well.

Simphiwe is still a new mother and she is also learning and getting experience in the motherhood world. This is what she wrote on her social media on how she felt. “Iyoh, Tiani has a fever last night. He cried most of the night and I am exhausted. I deserve some sleep and good food. When I wake up, I am drained. I even forgot my license at PostNet this morning. Is this motherhood”, Simphiwe wrote.

The actress seems to be finding motherhood very hard as she might be the only one handling her journey as a mother on her own. Also mentioning that she is still a new mother, she is taking every step slowly and learning in the process.

If you are not strong emotionally and do not have a support structure, you will eventually break down and struggle to keep up with how much it takes to be a mother. We hope Simphiwe will get through this and get back on track.
