DJ Sbu launches new project under his Leadership 2020 initiative

DJ Sbu has decied to move the African music to the next level as he officially launched a new exciting project under his Leadership 2020 initiative.

The media personality has opened his second radio station aimed at opening up the radio industry.

The station named Homegrown is expected to cater for African music and is aimed at opening up the radio industry in Mzansi.

The station is located in Centurion and it will only feature new talent from its radio training programme.

Bontle Modiselle gets more piercing on her face and she excitedly flaunt it on social media,

The choreographer is known to be a lover of jewelries, as she has a piercing on her nose, another for a ring nose and on her lower lip, aside her ears.

Taking to Instagram this Thursday, the star revealed 2 more piercing by the sides of her nose, and most followers gushed over her look.

“The one thing I’m most likely to do on impulse is get a piercing. I can’t tell you why except that I want to. It’s gotta be sudden though otherwise if I think about it too much, I’ll think my way out of it. On my third, definitely the last and I’m loving it ✨. And the bucket hat? I’m crazy in love. If you know me, you know why. Such an awesome gift,” she captioned post.

Nasty C to experiment with other genres

Nasty C is famously known as a hip hop artist, and his skills has gained him a large audience both at the national and international level.

In an interview with the UK’s Mixtape Madness, the rapper says he will like to try out other genres; and he was specific by stating two genres, which are – Electro Dance Music (EDM) and Trap.

“Most of the stuff I want to test, I’ve already experimented with it in the studio but nobody has ever heard it. What I want to do is find a way to put it out or give it to a DJ,” said Nasty C.

“I feel like if I was to find the perfect producer who would know how to flip it, give it to me how I would want it or how I would make it, then yeah,” he said

Popular portrait painter, Lebani ‘Rasta The Artist’ Sirenje has paid tribute to the retired legendary newsreader Noxolo Grootboom with a painting.
 

The painting has since caused an uproar on social media.The controversial painter took to social media to reveal a portrait he painted for the retired news anchor.

“After 37 years of excellent service, we thank you for your talent Mama.

Likewise, Twitter users shared their opinions on the painting and many were not impressed.

Reacting to the portrait, @Siyamtishana said: “The only thing you got right was the outfit,” he tweeted.

@Luyolom said: “You could have done better than this is it because you weren’t going to face Amabutho this time.”

Meanwhile, others praised him for the painting.

“Rasta is such a very good painter, it’s his sense of humour for me, can’t you see this is just all for some laughter, appreciate the legend,” Hollywood star Liso wrote on Facebook.

Remember when Boity Thulo said she was looking for a venue to marry Maps Maponyane?
 

Well, it looks like the potential groom has found it.

In February this year, Thulo tweeted that she was looking for an altar so that she can marry the son of the soccer legend Marks Maponyane.

“According to the Black Twitter Dlozis…. it seems we should be getting married one of these days, @MapsMaponyane. I’ll find an altar in the meantime,” tweeted Thulo.A month later, Maponyane finally responds.

He said: “Own Your Throw,” and Twitter went crazy.

Both their fans started making speculations about them being engaged.

The “Python” hitmaker sent his uncles to Durban to pay lobola (bride price) for his future wife, Nelli Tembe.

The Magacy (AKA’s fans) were over the moon after the musician made the announcement on social media.
