Another sad news have been reported in Limpopo following the death of Modimolle mayor.Marlene Van Staden was allegedly diagnosed with breast cancer last year (2022).Apparently Marlene Van Staden died early in the morning and it has been confirmed by Democratic Alliance (DA) leader John Steenhuisen.It is yet clear where the Modimolle mayor lost her life and more information will be released by her family through a statement.

The Mookgophong local municipality have lost a hard working woman who brought changes in the area.

 

It is sad that Marlene Van Staden did not survive the alleged breast cancer.The matter left the DA leader shocked ” I am devasted by the terrible news that my friend and colleague and mayor of Modimolle-Mookgopong has sadly passed away” said John Steenhuisen.

Memorial and funeral services will be announced.
