Bonang Matheba took to social media to initiate a conversation on possibly starting her own political party, humorously stating that she would call it Re Tsene.
Bonang Matheba seems to have had the idea of running for presidency before her ex-boyfriend, AKA. This comes after it was announced that independent candidates can now run in the provincial and national elections on Thursday, 11 June 2020. Bonang appears to have made the suggestion before AKA’s trending hashtag, #AKA4President, on the same day. The Being Bonang reality star started on the tangent with a suggestive tweet, writing, “A political party?”he then engaged with some of the responses in a series of tweets, however, she did not provide as much detail as AKA. One of the tweets suggested the ruling party could do with some competition.
When asked what she would name her political party, the House Of BNG creator opted for one of her popular slogans, simply stating, “Re Tsene.”
