It was a very symbolic day ( unveiling ceremony and his birthday) for me pass the mantle of Bab’Ncwane on to Ngcweti. The baton has been officially passed on. I am so happy Ngcweti chose his own path and identity as a Hip Hop/ Rap/ R&B/ Afrobeats musician, regardless of a high expectation of him to become a Gospel minister. As his mother I would like to assure the fans and supporters of Sfiso Ncwane that I know I am taking a well thought decision to let Ngcweti be himself and do what God has gifted him with. And to all Ncwane’s fans, I promise you Ncwane’s legacy is alive in most Gospel ministers and you will surely witness him through his son’s music career. He didn’t die, he multipled! I know most of you are still in pain about his passing but please hold on to what he left us.
