Nambitha Ben Mazwi is a South African actress,MC, radio & TV presenter as well as philanthropist. She was born in Port Elizabeth and found her passion at the age of 12.Nambitha is holding a qualification of Honors degree in Business Science from University of Cape Town in 2011.During her studies Nambitha was introduced to the media and broadcasting industry by hosting UCT’s drive-time radio show. She also became the official MC for the 2010 MTN FIFA World .In 2017 ,she was selected as the official female host for the first ESL African Championships , hosted by Kwese at the 15th annual rAge Expo.

 

 

 

Tackling the film industry,she landed a role in Mzansi Magic’s crime drama series ,Doubt ,which landed her a YOU Spec favourite actress nomination as well as Traffic! season .She also acted on The Queen played character of Shaqueesha.

She recently landed a role of Zim ,a yogi and a flourist on a film played on Netflix called “Happiness Ever After”. The film is a sequel to the 2016 romantic comedy “Happiness is a Four-Letter-Word based on the novel by Nozizwe Cynthia Jele. Others castmembers are Khanyi Mbau,Renate Stuurman ,Yonda Thomas,Loyiso McDonald ,Richard Lekunku ,Xolile Tshabalala and Nandi Nyembe.

South Africa has been under Lockdown since the start of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic last year (2020), and unfortunately over a year later we are still under Lockdown, even though other countries around the world are mostly back to normal and opening up again, we still have some restrictions.

Popular South African singer Amanda Black is seemingly tired of living under Lockdown, as she took to Twitter to ask why South Africa is still under Lockdown…

Amanda Black’s question was met with a lot of comments as countless South Africans shared their own opinions as to why they think the country in still under Lockdown, this is what some people are saying…

“It’s the only way they can control us.”

“Because they can’t use the “vaccines” outside of an emergency, in short we’re in lockdown so that pfizer makes alot of money”

“Coz we didnt fight to get out of it, in dis country we must fight for everything, our rights, service delivery, salary increase even some peace of mind”

There was a rumors which are still rumors that It seems Uzalo actress Gugu Gumede who portrays the character of Mamlambo, is leaving the popular SABC 1 sudser. The actress has had an illustrious career on the small screens. She has become a household name with a legion of fans.
