Panyaza Lesufi was blasted for congratulating matric 2023.

Today is quite a significant day for South African matriculants who learned whether or not the work they out in last year’s school term was enough to earn them a pass. Among those who celebrated their success is Minister Panyaza Lesufi who pointed out on X that the 2023 class managed to pull off the highest pass rate since 1994.

While many joined him in celebrating the 2023 matriculants, even more people roasted him over his support of futuristic township taverns which was launched last year in partnership with beer giant Heineken.PANYAZI LESUFI REMINDED OF FUTURISTIC TAVERNS WHILE CELEBRATING 2023 MATRICS
Last year, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi excitedly headed to X to discuss the idea of having “Taverns of the Future” in communities across the province.

The iniative – Taverns of the Future — is a project spearheaded by Heineken South Africa and has been endorsed by Lesufi who says that the renovations and support of qualifying taverns will “grow Gauteng” and create employmentThe idea was largely slammed by local social media users who don’t see how placing high quality taverns in townships will improve those communities.

Their disappointment over the futuristic taverns was once again brought up earlier today when Lesufi shared a congratulatory message with 2023’s matriculants.

“Well done Ma’2000 for the highest matric pass since 1994 #Matric2023,” he tweeted.

— Panyaza Lesufi (@Lesufi) January 18, 2024.Many blasted him for not endorsing better ideas than futuristic taverns to help these matriculants who are now officially unemployed.

Others remarked how the current 30% pass rate contributed to the class’ success rate.

“Taverns of the future are waiting for them,” one person said sarcastically while another wrote:

“And instead of preparing educational facilities for them, you tarvens are waiting for them. You must be ashamed of yourself.”

Anele Mdoda fights for Minnie Dlamini as grown men seriously attack her.Popular Mzansi media personality Minenhle “Minnie” Dlamini cannot seem to get a break online. The presenter is often criticized for her appearance and personal life. Ever since the news of her divorce hit, it would appear she became less popular among her male fans.

This was proven after she shared a short svideo of herself on her social media. Instead of the thousands of likes and shares it used to get, it was criticized by trolls who said she was “fishing for a new husband”.People were left even more flabbergasted after learning that Quinton was allegedly demanding R10k a month in spousal support from the former Rockville star.

She is once again trending after sharing a seductive video on her Instagram page.

AKA died after he was gunned down by an unknown gunman/woman on the evening of 10 February 2023 in Durban. The rapper has been tremendously missed by his family since his death which was caught on a CCTV footage in Florida Road. As his death anniversary is coming up next month, his birthday coming up later this month, and his eight-year-old daughter having started a new Grade following his death, AKA’s mother said she still feels her son’s presence and especially during special moments.“I know you were there with me when I took her [Kairo] to school for her first day of Gr3. You stayed with her all day until I picked her up. You were there with me doing the same on day 2 and you sat with me through the parent info session last night. It broke my heart when they spoke about the dad-and-daughter robotics days coming up this year. I remember you being very excited about her getting to Gr3 so you can do this with her,” Lynn wrote on her feed.

“You will be with her [Kairo] again today and every day going forward and even if we can’t see you; we feel your presence all the time,” Lynn added.Kairo Forbes surprised her father, AKA, with a homemade cake on his 35th birthday on 28 January, last year. The rapper’s mother, Lynn, penned to AKA and said that she and Kairo have recently reminisced about last year’s cute birthday gesture.

“She [Kairo] notices you in the butterflies and in the clouds when they open up and she knows that you’re with her. Yesterday, she talked about your upcoming birthday and we reminisced about the cake she baked for you last year and how you almost started a fire lighting all of those 35 candles,” Lynn wrote.
