South African singer Lira, whose real name is Lerato Molapo, recently performed in front of a crowd for the first time since she suffered a stroke more than a year ago.


 

 

 

 

 

After having a stroke, Lira’s recuperation has not been simple, but she is improving, and she has the support of her fans at every turn.

Over the weekend Lira performed at the RMB Starlight Classics in Johannesburg. She was a guest at the event and was persuaded to perform with Sunnyboy Vincent Dladla and Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha.Lira said she has trouble speaking clearly, but she tries, and she hasn’t yet started up her singing career again.

She took to social media to share her performance and spoke about her healing journey.

“This was so surreal. I was keen to try – but I did it 🥰👌🏾. I had the awesome voices of @sunnyboy.dladla and @masabane_cecilia_rangwanasha who supported me. “

“There’s still a long way to go before I can sing on my own , let alone sing at a full concert- but this a very positive step in my recovery. I’ve been singing to loosen up my tongue, it has helped to speak better and I do it as part of my recovery

Musa Mseleku’s eldest wife, MaCele, has candidly discussed her life in a polygamous marriage and the challenges it posed, including the tragic loss of one of his husband’s wife.According to MaCele, she dated Musa Mseleku for two years before he proposed. Initially, she disapproved of the idea of a second wife but changed her mind when Musa expressed his desire to have 20 children, a prospect she found overwhelming. To avoid being selfish and preventing other women from becoming single mothers, she agreed to let him have children with other wives.


 

Tragically, Musa’s second wife passed away in a car accident, making him married to a total of five women.
