Lira is what most people call Lerato Moipone Molapo. She is a South African singer who sings Jazz, Afro soul, R&B, and funk, among other styles. She started singing when she was young, and when she was 16 she started doing stage shows. She makes up her own music.

 

 

 

 

 

The award winning singer is 44 years old. In 2019, she said that she and her husband of nine years were no longer together. Lira doesn’t have kids, but she doesn’t mind seeing her friends raise their own. She used to say, when she was in her late 30s, that she didn’t have time for babies because she and her then-husband were so busy.

She again answered the question last year saying having children is not in her plans. This is very strange because Lira grew up in a family with eight other kids. One would think Lira should love to have many children like her parents, or maybe her childhood was not beautiful around her siblings?

Lira has all the money she need and she has achieved many goals and kids should be next. She was named the Namibian travel ambassador not too long ago. Is 44-year-old Lira still not ready to have kids in July 2021?
