After having a severe stroke, musician Lira breaks her silence.

A few weeks ago, South Africans heard from Paris, France, what had happened to Lira, a well-known soul, jazz, Afro-soul, and R&B musician from their country.

Lira, whose real name is Lerato Moipone Molapo, had a serious stroke right before she was going to perform in Paris.

After getting some treatment, she was flown to South Africa so she could get more treatment there. Her family has confirmed what happened and asked for privacy while they take care of her.

Now, Lira has broken her silence about what happened by posting on her social media page. She then wrote, “Physically, I haven’t been affected because I’m strong and healthy.” The stroke has made it hard for me to talk, but every day I make a lot of progress. I am going to take some time to focus on getting better.”
