“I grew up without my parents,” Phenius reveals, his voice tinged with the weight of his past. “When my mother passed away in 2017, I had to drop out of school to take care of my younger siblings. With no home to call our own, I found myself sleeping rough, abandoned by those I sought solace from.”But amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope emerged when Phenius received an unexpected call from the producers of “DiepCity.” Offered the role of Osama, a character with whom he shared haunting similarities, Phenius seized the opportunity with both hands, recognizing it as a chance to rewrite the script of his own life.

“Playing Osama was a turning point for me,” Phenius reflects. “Here was a character who, like me, had been abandoned by society, left to fend for himself on the unforgiving streets. Through him, I found a voice, a purpose, and a means to channel my pain into something productive.”

As Phenius immersed himself in the role, he discovered a newfound sense of belonging and validation, as well as an outlet for his creative talents. The character of Osama became more than just a role; he became a lifeline, guiding Phenius away from the brink of despair and towards a brighter future.

“Now that the production is over, I’m focusing on my music,” Phenius shares, his eyes alight with determination. “But I’ll always be grateful for the role of Osama and the opportunities it afforded me.
