Connie Ferguson is a South African actress and filmmaker. Born in Northern Cape, South Africa, she moved to her father’s homeland of Botswana when she was just 5 years old and schooled there briefly.
At the outset, she was terrified of speaking in front of people. To overcome this handicap, she had immersed herself in the world of sports and drama, ultimately overcoming that handicap and becoming one of South Africa’s most loved actresses.Her loving for acting eventually led her to found Ferguson Films in collaboration with her second husband Shona Ferguson.

Connie Ferguson apparently set out to read law at the outset. She was said to have failed criminal law and decided to switch to drama, eventually graduating with a degree in drama and performing arts from the University of KwaZulu-Natal
Connie Ferguson loves good whips and has never hidden that love. Among others, she owns a Mercedes Benz and G63 AMG, a gift from her husband Shona.
At the time she got the gift, she had gushed over Shona, thanking him for his kindness. She also owns a Bentley, a Maserati and a Range RoverConnie loves to exercise, but she prefers to do it in her own space. She works out at home to Tae Bo and Zumba DVDs, using light weights.
