In the world of football a number of PSL players often astonish us with the way they keep their lives private.
These low key professionals have even kept details about their families a secret for the longest time.
In the past few years Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has constantly enjoyed the spotlight mostly because he is one of the most lethal and potent attackers to ever grace the PSL. On Sunday evening the 28 year old Windhoek born footballer made history by joining retired footballer Teko Modise as the second PSL player to win back to back PSL Footballer of the Season awards.
A rare picture of Peter Shalulile and his mother surfaces
On the day the Mamelodi Sundowns jersey number 38 who scored 30 goals in all competitions had his name written in the history books when he joined Collins Mbesuma as the only PSL players to win two Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot awards.
During the awards ceremony which was held virtually Peter Shalulile who enjoyed a stunning season with Mamelodi Sundowns scooped three major awards including the PSL Player’s Player of the Season award. Off the field of play when he is not scoring goals for fun “Shasha” as he is affectionately known as has kept his private life off the limelight.
As of late we have since had the privilege to learn that the Brave Warriors attacker who currently plies his trade in the PSL is the son of Menete Shalulile. A few years ago Peter Shalulile’s mother who prefers to keep a low profile on social media took to her Facebook account to share a rare picture where she was captured alongside her son who plays professional for a living.
From the shared picture on the popular platform it seems as if the attacker had visited his mother during the off season back in his home country where she currently resides.
