Mzansi lost two superstars only this week and several celebrities including award-winning media personality Bonang Matheba, and the Supa Mega (AKA) have since taken to their social media platforms to react.

Yesterday the news of the passing of hip-hop star Itumeleng George Tladi who was popularly known as Tumi Tladi broke on the internet sending shockwaves around the country.

Taking to Twitter, AKA, JR and other celebrities wrote short RIP messages dedicated to the star. Tumi Tladi was popularly known for his hit single titled Basadi featuring Rouge and Nomuzi Mabena.

Today, the family of the Netflix star Busisiwe Lurayi released a statement confirming her passing. Busisiwe played the character of Dineo on the popular Netflix series titled How to Ruin Christmas. She also acted alongside Mandla N and Warren Masemola on SABC 1sitcom Topsesla.

 

Actress Dineo Langa, Sizwe Dlomo and Bonang Matheba have since reacted to the sad news of Busisiwe’s passing.

According to Busisiwe’s family, the actress passed away yesterday at her residence.

“We are deeply saddened to notify you of the passing of Busisiwe Lurayi. Busisiwe passed on suddenly and was pronounced dead at her residence in Sunday 10.07.2022 by medical personnel,” the family said in a statement also requesting space as they go through this difficult time.
