However, in the wake of her newfound fame on the small screen, she was axed alongside other actors after a salary protest against the showrunners. The salary woes which marred Generations saw the drama series losing almost its entire lead cast.

After being axed on Generations, she had a two-year hiatus only to bounce back with a gig on Mzansi Magic’s drama series The Road in 2017. She was also cast in another Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, The Herd, as Mam’Ngandi. No doubt she has been winning big.
