Poet and activist, Ntsiki Mazwai has broken her silence following DJ Fresh’s statement on the rape allegations against him. Whilst she did not speak directly on the matter, as ordered by the Johannesburg High Court, the poet indicated once again that she has been ordered not to speak about the situation.

n since-deleted tweets, Ntsiki stated, “Guys I’m not allowed to comment on ANY gbv and rape topics… Pls don’t tag me.”, and “I’d rather listen to my lawyer than to some random tweep hey.”

Thereafter, Ntsiki shared other tweets which questioned why she has been receiving backlash, as she believes that her life doesn’t affect anyone else.Mama wethu. Thank you for today.
