Zulu Traditional Prime Minister, Mangosuthu Buthelezi has called on South Africans to pray for the Zulu king, Misuzulu KaZwelithini. This comes after there has been allegations of the king having a fallout with the prime minister.

 

Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has called on the nation to pray for King Misuzulu. He asked for prayers to give him wisdom and compassion. The Traditional Zulu Prime Minister also called on the nation to pray over the Zulu kingdom.

Recently, the prime minister revealed that he was going to meet with the king and discuss about various issues that are topical including the Ingonyama Trust Board.

It has now been revealed that Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi is appealing to King Misuzulu to return to the royal house as there are reports that he no longer lives there and is currently residing in Ballito, a mansion situated north of Durban.

A committee of Zulu royals and chiefs has pleaded with King Misuzulu KaZwelithini to be stationed at his palace at all times so that he could perform all the rituals only reserved for him. The King currently lives in a mansion in Durban.

The royals also asked Prince Mangosuthu to sign the affidavits for the court case over the Zulu throne brought by Prince Simakade. However, that is only if they come from Straus Daly, the Durban law firm that was recently dumped by the King.

This shows that the Zulu kingdom is still not stable under the new king. There are a lot of outstanding issues which needs to be addressed. It is also not clear why the king is not staying at the palace where he is supposed to be.

There is need for real interventions to resolve whatever matters that are happening at the palace. King Misuzulu KaZwelithini has been heavily criticised by Mangosuthu Buthelezi through the media, and this cannot be good for his image.
