The 10 people who were massacared on that day were laid to rest on Saturday the 29th of April where dignitaries from around the country were in attendance of the funeral, the likes of the provinces Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube and many other government officials attended the funeral and shared a couple of words the minister of police General Bheki Cele was one of those who spoke during the funeral and what he said left the country in great shock.

Speaking during the funeral service, Cele said the wherever these is a serious crime including murder there is a Zulu person involved, he said it doesn’t matter where the murder happened, as long as it is murder, the killer is likely to be from the KwaZulu-Natal Province, he emphasised his point by mentioning that they arrested a man who was in a bus on his way to kill someone in Cape Town.

‘Wherever you go in South Africa where there is a problem of killings of people, there’s always a person from KwaZulu-Natal. It is good that I am the one saying this because I am from this province, even if the crime is committed at the Beit Bridge, there is a killer from KwaZulu-Natal involved, we arrested someone right here at Tollgate inside a bus, he had a gun, an AK-47, he was on his way to kill someone in Cape Town

will never come to an end for as long as there are people who are in possession of unlicensed firearms, they know that they will kill and get away with murder since they will be untraceable, the government should come with ways and means of trying to make sure thst the guns are taken away from everyone who doesn’t have a license.
