Zoleka Mandela is recognized as South African writer and activist . She is vibrant and active and smart woman with massive thoughts on how to make her life better . She is talented and embracing person who is not afraid to chase her dreams and have a productive future . She is a true definition of brains and beauty and she has a sense of humour and personality . She is the granddaughter of the late Nelson Mandela who was the President of South Africa and late Winnie Madikizela-Mandela an ANC veteran . She is intelligent and independent woman who values her life and she is successful and gifted .

 

 
She has gone through a lot in her life and her story is one that will change many people lives . She was born on 9th April 1980 to Zwelibanzi Hlongwane (father) and Zindzi Mandela (mother) . Her parents separated when she was young and she was raised by her aunt Zenani Mandela . She was sexually abused as a child and had issues with drug addiction and alcohol . She launched her autobiography titled” When Hope Whispers ” . The book gives a detailed of her life, talking about her addiction, cancer struggles, relationship woes, as well as her daughter’s death through a road accident .

She is a two-time survivor of breast cancer, and she established her foundation in 2013 ,and the motivation behind the launch of the Foundation included her life’s journey, her breast cancer journey . She is one of the strongest women in the country and she is calm, humble and confident.
