Bonginkosi Dlamini popular known as his stage name “Zola 7” is a celebrated multi award winning kwaito musician. He is also a well known presenter and actor. The legendary musician is also known for his philanthropic work.
He won the hearts of many when he helped many young people realize their dreams through his show Zola 7 on SABC 1 which aired between 2002 and 2010.
As of late the renowned musician has remained low in the media with many of his fans and followers asking themselves what may have had happened to him. In an article covered by the leading publication News24, his manager would reveal the reason why Dlamini has kept a low profile for some time.
According to the article his manager has since revealed that Zola 7 was diagnosed with epilepsy over three years ago and that has since changed his life around. His manager would reveal that he does not do much nowadays as the episodes may happen any given time.
It has further been reported that at one point in time he was involved in a horrible car accident after the epilepsy episodes kicked in. His car would hit a nearby tree leaving the musician badly injured. Zola would then spend a number of days in hospital as he was still getting medical attention.
According to his manager it has been revealed that the episodes are now coming more often than before. It has further been revealed that Dlamini has since wanted to share this information with his fans so they know if anything was to happen to him. Lastly it has been stated that his situation is increasing getting from bad to worse after he had received the diagnostic and the fans have since been asked to pray for him.
