Zala 7 is a South African kwaito musician, actor, writer, and poet. Bonginkosi Dlamini is better known by his stage name Zola 7. His epilepsy struggles have made him a social media hot topic recently. Pearl Thusi has stated that she will never back Zola, despite the fact that the country has shown some support for the Kwaito star. It was because of the GBV allegations against him that she made that statement.
“That awkward GBV moment kinda complicates things,” she remarked.
Many people were outraged by this, claiming that while South African celebrities were ready to say “Rest in Peace,” they were sitting on their hands and did nothing to aid Zola when the opportunity arose.
Pearl Thusi tweeted Pearl Thusi on Monday, and the Kwaito star didn’t react until today. “Those who know me at a close proximity know false charges from the truth,” he claimed. This demonstrates that Zola has no knowledge of the claims against him.
Sibongile Nkabinde, his wife at the time, filed a police report accusing him of assault after the two got into a physical confrontation in 2017. According to Zola, Tshisa-live contacted him to ask his opinion on the allegations and he responded with the following: “Look, I have no idea what you’re talking about. No media interviews are on my agenda right now. Using social media would be my preferred method of communication if I had something to say”
It was just a few days ago that Shauwn Mkhize (Mamkhize) asked kwaito star Andile Mpisane to visit her and her son at one of her houses in Sandton, South Africa. Their time spent together was truly enjoyable. Mamkhize urged with the business community to lend a hand to Zola’s efforts. On her Twitter account, she then shared this information.
To show Zola some love, I’m telling you all to do so. With Zola in my arms I am urging the entire country to demonstrate their love for him. Zola is no longer here, and I don’t want you to offer him affection while he’s gone.”
We were able to spend some much-needed time together. All of us should do the right thing, especially when it comes to a member of our own family. Zola is an underappreciated hero who has been a driving force for social progress for decades. Do not ignore the situation. #ShowZolaLove.”
Let’s do the right thing as a nation and refrain from posting “R.I.P.” as if we were showing the deceased some affection. The time to intervene is now, while they remain conscious and in need of assistance.
