When South African exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu and actress Manaka Ranaka first announced their plans to take to the ring for a boxing match, many couldn’t believe it. While people thought it was a joke, others starting sharing who they would be backing in this version of Cassper Nyovest’s famous celeb boxing matches.

The fight took place over the weekend and let’s just say social media users are not very impressed.

 

 

 
Local hitmaker Cassper Nyovest started something huge with his celebrity boxing matches. So far we’ve seen him go up against Naak Musiq and Preddy Ugly.

Both matches were a huge success and have left South Africans wanting more.

This must be why adult entertainer Zodwa Wabantu and former Generations star Manaka Ranaka must’ve thought it was a good idea to have a celeb boxing match of their own.

The match took place on Saturday 21 October at the Ridge Casino in Mpumalanga. Tickets for the event were sold for between R100 and R1000.

And now videos for the fight have left X users laughing at those who spent their hard earned cash to watch the fight which many have called “nonsense”.

In the ring, the ladies appear to have no clue how to box and rather bizarrely chase each other around the ring.
