After the North Gauteng High Court was in recess for over two month, the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has once again resumed and Tumelo Madlala who was at Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus when his best friend was shot and killed is back in the dock as he is being cross examined, he has finally had his day with the tough Advocate Zandile Mshololo who is representing accused number five, almost everyone was waiting to hear and see how she will cross examined the witness and after the very first day, it seems as if she is going to have it easy after what the witness said just before the court adjourned on Tuesday.

Mahololo questioned Madlala’s loyalty to the late Senzo Meyiwa as his best friend after he said he sold his Meyiwa’s pictures to make money for himself, she even asked him if he remembers how much he was paid for the pictures by Netflix as she questions why did he give away Meyiwa’s pictures after he had died.

 

 

 

“Is it also correct that you have pictures of your best friend Senzo? How come you gave those pictures of your bestfriend to Netflix after his death? You gave out info about your bestfriend not knowing their interest. Do you see yourself as a reliable friend, so you sold your best friend’s pictures?” she asked.

Mean while, just when the court was about to adjourn, Mshololo requested to be allowed time for just one more question, when she was allowed to do so, she asked Madlala if he has ever seen her client accused number 5, but Madlala said he has never seen him anywhere.

“Accused number 5, have you ever seen him before? Is it your first time seeing him in court?” she asked.

Accused number five could be easily acquitted after what Madlala said, having said he has never seen accused number five, he remains positive that he has seen accused number 2 at the house where the killing happened, we wait to see what tomorrow will bring.
