It is such a beautiful spectacle to witness South African celebrities share the beauty of healthy and happy marriages with their spouses. Especially love stories like Zungu’s, where his wife stuck by him in both his tough and good times.
Thinah Zungu is a forever so talented South African gospel artist. He is originally from Inanda in KwaZulu Natal and he’s won an award for being the Best Songwriter at the SABC Crown Gospel Awards in 2012. He has also won Best Gospel Song at the SABC Crown Gospel Awards with an album titled song Kwanqab’umusa in the same year.
Zungu woke up and went to his official Facebook pafr to give thanks to his supportive wife, Zama Zungu for believing in him since 2011, way before he even got famous and had the possessions he now has.
In the post Zungu says, “ From 2011 until now— indeed you are a bone of my bones. You came before all the material things that I now have. You are part of God’s plan. “
Zungu reminisces of how he needed R2000 for his first ever smartphone but only had R200 but his wife gave him the R1800 even though she didn’t even own that kind of phone as well.
He further vows that they will be together forever till death separates them and his friend Jumbo eventually marries his girlfriend, Ayanda.
People always say, “a woman’s loyalty is tested when a man has nothing while a man’s loyalty is tested when he has everything”. Indeed both Thinah and his wife have effortlessly stood the test of time side by side while remaining true to themselves and each other.
