DiepCity produced by the award-winning creator and director of popular drama Lockdown, Mandla N of Black Brain Productions is a fresh new telenovela that explores the struggle of four young women trying to make their way in the world.

 

 

 

The show is about four ladies who were forced into criminality while in high school, to make ends meet and they ended up getting used to the life of stealing. No matter how much they try to escape this life, they always find themselves back in the same spot they don’t want to be in.

This show replaced Isibaya and since it’s debut a lot of people have been praising for its high quality content. The show has recently welcomed a new member in their cast known as Sonia Mbele. She is most popularly known for the character she has portrayed on Generations as Ntombi Khumalo. This actress will be playing the character of Zola and DiepCity.
