Kwesta and his wife Yolanda Vilakazi are geared up to welcome baby number two any moment now and they have everything well prepared. The Vilakazi’s will soon be a family of four. Judging from the colour coordination in the nursery video she posted, she is expecting a baby girl! The couple has been married for over a year but have been together for much longer, an entire decade and have a daughter together Kai Vilakazi, who will have a sibling very soon.
The businesswoman posted a video of her baby girls nursery and revealed that she was done with it some months back. She acknowledged her family members for their added touches.Announcing her pregnancy, the family of three wore matching traditional attire and Yolanda revealed her bulging belly. She ‘accidentally’ revealed how far along she is but that announcement seems to have been deleted.
“It’s official, our little family is growing. We’re expecting! As we celebrate a decade of love and being together, God chose us and trusted us with another beautiful blessing that is half of me & half of my love,” she wrote.They had a baby shower with a twist for their unborn child. Yolanda and Kwesta revealed that they hosted a “drive-by” baby shower. The aim of the drive-by baby shower was to have their friends, family and loved ones come over and see the expectant mom, drop of their present and possibly stay a bit longer to enjoy the refreshments. It was designed to abide by the COVID-19 regulations and restrictions.
In attendance were some of the A-listers Tshepi Vundla, Moozlie, actress and television host, Lerato Mvelase, also attended the baby shower. Bestie musician Thabsie showed up and showed out with a SMEG kettle, specifically gifted for the baby’s bottles only. Out of all the gifts which included the customary presents of clothes, breast pumps, and kiddies related gifts; the SMEG kettle is the richest Aunt flex so far.
The pregnancy was a roller coaster ride for the media personality and she revealed to her fans in a lengthy IG post that it has not been easy. “From finding out just before lockdown and navigating the uncertainties and fear that came with the pandemic to my first ultrasound and the gynaecologist (not my actual gynae) telling me she can’t find a heartbeat & that I miscarried,” shared Yolanda.
