Wiseman Mncube Bids Farewell to ‘Uzalo’

Beloved actor Wiseman Mncube, famed for his role as Sibonelo in the hit TV show ‘Uzalo,’ has officially left the series.Notably, ‘Uzalo’ wasn’t the only stage for Mncube’s talent; he’s been a rising star with roles in ‘Mandoza’ and ‘Shaka Ilembe’ as King Zwide, as well as ‘The Wife’ where he portrayed Mqhele.

 

The star-studded cast of ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ also includes familiar faces from popular shows like ‘Generations: The Legacy,’ ‘The Estate,’ ‘Smoke and Mirrors,’ ‘Uzalo,’ ‘Umkhokha: The Curse,’ and ‘Scandal!,’ promising a captivating and entertaining viewing experience for fans of local telenovelas.

Fans were abuzz when the news broke that Mncube is now part of the exciting new telenovela, ‘My Brother’s Keeper,’ set to replace ‘Gomora’ on DStv Mzansi Magic. This change was announced by the renowned entertainment commentator @TvblogbyMLU.

‘My Brother’s Keeper,’ scheduled to air on Monday, 23 October at 19:30, is set to take over the prime-time slot formerly occupied by ‘Gomora.’ Mncube takes on the leading role of Nqubeko, an ambitious son determined to step out of his father’s shadow, in this thrilling new series.

According to Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment channels at M-Net, they are excited to bring this well-written and expertly produced series to DStv Compact viewers, aiming to keep audiences intrigued and entertained.
