Jub Jub was a natural-born entertainer who was drawn to music and performance from a very young age. He first shot to fame at the age of 10 when he was cast in the advertisement for Inkomazi, which catapulted him into the public eye.
After that, he became a cast member on the SABC1 show Jam Alley, and a little while later, he was cast in the Oliver Schmitz crime drama Hijack Stories.
Jub Jub was awarded a scholarship to attend LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts in Manhattan, New York, after he had finished his primary school education.
His first studio album, titled Rare Breed, was released in 2006, marking the beginning of Jub Jub’s career as a musician. It featured the hit song “Good Time of Your Time,” which was played extensively on radio and television stations across the country.
