The former Miss South Africa is set to host the annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs 17).

Zozi Tunzi will host the annual awards celebrating small-screen stars alongside Lawrance Maleka, who has quickly become one of Africa’s most sought-after hosts.

The annual awards are set for 30 September. Taking to Instagram, the beauty queen posted: “I’m happy to announce that I’ll be your official Host for the @saftassa #SAFTA17 alongside the talented @sirlawrencemaleka.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the backdrop of his post, the organisers also gave a nod with a social media post: “Ladies and gentlemen, your SAFTAs17 hosts are Zozibini Tunzi and Lawrence Maleka. The SAFTAs team is excited and ready to bring you an entertaining show on 30 September 2023 at 20:00 on S3 and Mzansi Magic (channel 161). It’s a date!”
