Well Known South African Celebrity Leaves Many Concerned After Posting This Suicide Note

In many societies, mental health issues are still taboo, especially in black communities. Things like depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems that many people suffer from are not well understood. People who suffer from these conditions are sometimes labelled as crazy or bewitched. This results in individuals being afraid to speak out when they are suffering from any mental health issues and preferring to deal with it on their own, but sometimes it becomes so overwhelming that most individuals decide to commit suicide.

Mental health problems do not discriminate and can affect any person, whether they are from a rich background or poor. Most people who suffer from these do so because of childhood traumas. or traumas that they experience while still trying to navigate their way through life. The topic of mental health has become one of the most spoken about, especially after the passing of Riky Rick, who passed away from suicide and people are still in shock. In the wake of Riky Rick’s passing, many people came to the realisation that even though it might seem like celebrities are living good lives behind closed doors, they are also suffering, and in most cases, they are afraid to speak out about their suffering.

The entertainment industry, like any other work environment, can be overwhelming at times and toxic for many people who work there, especially when they are mistreated and forced to pretend to live a lifestyle they do not.
