Blaq Diamond is famously well known South African Afro pop duo from Ladysmith. Blaq Diamond has two members which is Ndumiso Mdletshe and Sphelele Dunywa. Ndumiso and Sphelele they both met on a school trip where they both participated in a misic Cypher in a school bus. They signed to a song recording label Ambitiouz entertainment and released their first album ‘inqola’ in year 2017, which became their first iTunes number one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On May 2, 2019, their single “Memeza” featuring Sjava was released, as a album lead single . That song peaked number 9 on radio airplay chart. Their second single ‘Ibhanoyi’ was released on 02 August, the song peaked number one on iTunes charts. On the 26th ceremony of South African Music Awards, ibhanoyi won the record of the year.
