Fans were left scratching their heads in confusion after Asphelelanga singer, Vusi Nova revealed his new lover on Twitter this morning.Wait…but isn’t he gay? Most questioned.

Vusi Nove is love-smitten, and no, not with a male partner as many expected, but is in a heterosexual relationship with an unnamed female partner.

He shared a picture of him and his rumoured bae looking all cosy and captioned it “I got you.”Rumours were also fueled by Somizi a few weeks back on his reality cooking show ‘Diner At Somizi’s’ where he sensationally claimed he and Vusi Nova were kissing partners. The two’s close friendship has also made many claim they may have been involved in a relationship behind Somizi’s husband, Mohale.

Vusi seems to have come out once again to squash the gay rumours after Somizi’s slip of tongue.

Previously, Vusi has spoken so much about relationships saying it never works out for him and that relationships are kind of messy.

This has made him be single for so many years, he once revealed.

In his recent post, Vusi seems to be giving love a second chance with a new bae whose name hasn’t been revealed.

Speaking to Metro FM, he said: “Even though I’ve gone through so much in terms of my romantic relationships, I still believe in love. I’ve dusted myself off and I’m moving forward, there’s no time to move back, there’s no time to look back ndiyaphambili. I still believe in love.”
