Veteran actress Leleti Khumalo continues to inspire many as she embraces her skin condition. She has had vitiligo for some years now but still lives her life to the fullest. Leleti is not about to let Vitiligo define who she is.
“In 2018. Vitiligo does not define who I am,” she said. The great thing about Leleti is that she also empathize with other people suffering from the skin condition.
She further tweeted. “Let us Love people with vitiligo. Let us not make them feel abandoned, let make the world better with Love, Respect, Inspiration, Smile and wisdom.”

Leleti found out about the disease when she was 24 and that it came from her father’s side of the family. Vitiligo is a disease that destroys skin pigment cells, causing the loss of skin color in blotches. This happens because the cells that make pigment (color) in the skin are destroyed.
