Not so long ago, club promoter and influencer Ino Morolong came to Makhadzi after allegedly missing a performance and failing to pay the money back. Ino insulted Makhadzi by calling her dragon and saying that her music is only being played at tavens and Taxi ranks following an altercation with the Matorokisi hit maker. Little did she know that she was still holding on to old news because Makhadzi’s music was now international and by that time she was doing her international gig in Canada.

 

 

 

 

It has always been Makhadzi’s dream to perform her unique sound abroad and finally her dreams came true. She recently shared a clip of her performance in the UK and captioned “Village girl in the UK”, bragging about how she’s from the village but filling venues abroad with her music.

Makhadzi was born in the village in Venda and, despite the challenges that she came across in her music journey, she has managed to stay positive until she got her breakthrough. It looks like we are still going to witness more about the Singer.
