Fans of the popular 1Magic telenovela could be in for disappointment if the news reported turns out to be true.

When watching a telenovela or a drama series, fans turn to relate to that actor or actress especially when they are playing the leading role.

Therefore it is expected to be a disappointment when they leave.

What can be worse is that the departure of someone with such high skills of acting and a leading role actor. Most definitely that would affect the soap and even the ratings.

The unverified news written by the entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, are that the 1Magic’s The River leading actor, Hlomla Dandala has left the award-winning telenovela.

 
Dandala is known to many by the role he plays of Zweli Dikana.

Mphela did not issue out reasons behind the sudden exit of Dandala.

Means to get comment from the channel were unsuccessful as they declined to comment.

It would be remembered that Dandala joined The River as from the inception in season 1 where he played the role of Zweli Dikana, a police commissioner who takes pride in doing his job and who has a good standing within his community.
