It’s a very comedic moment when Mr Mbatha (Thabo Mnguni) and Babekazi (Duduzile Ngcobo) team up to pull off a daring heist by stealing from Nkunzi (Masoja Msiza), setting a tar-get on their lives. Knowing how funny these two characters are, this planned robbery will definitely not be a conventional boring one!

Nkunzi is the most notorious gangster in KwaMashu – he buries people alive who steal from him or leaves them in the freezer to die of the cold. If you steal from him and he finds out, there will be hell to pay. So why would this unexpected pair take that risk?

 

 

 

Babekazi owes an insurance company R800 000 that they paid out for Gabisile’s (Baby Cele) death.

Now that Gabisile is back from the dead, Babekazi needs to pay back that money and she doesn’t have it. So the next best thing is to steal from the only rich person they both know in KwaMashu: Nkunzi.

Babekazi blackmails Mr Mbatha – whom she’s squatting with – to help her and the unlikely duo get to work.

When the day arrives, the bandits raid Nkunzi’s office and they manage to get into his safe. They hit the jackpot as they’re able to get about half the money that they need.

But their joy is short-lived when Nkunzi sends out a word of warning to whoever broke into his office: They’re going to pay dearly.

Mbatha is very, very scared because he didn’t want to do this in the first place. Mr Mbatha isn’t a thief, but helping Babekazi was the only way out of her blackmailing him and to get rid of her.

Mr Mbatha fears for his life in such a way that he writes his will. He can smell death coming. And they’ve still only got half the money!
