Uzalo And Durban Gen are Suspended With Immediate Effect and these are the reasons why they will be off television.

Due to certain circumstances these two telenovelas Uzalo and Durban Gen have been forced to stop shooting due to the strike and looting at Durban which makes it harder for people to do their jobs.

All this was decided just after shops were looted, buildings burnt and roads blocked by people due to the imprisonment of former President Jacob Zuma who was imprisoned for several charges.

Well this has affected the operations of SABC1’s Uzalo and e.tv’s Durban Gen. The cast members say they don’t know when they will be going back to work cause all this seems like it’s now getting out of control.

 

 

 

Everyone is worried since most people love Uzalo and Durban Gen, therefore Dailysun interviewed one of Uzalo cast member and the person said that they are scared for their lives since durban is on fire and people are going crazy. The person added by saying that roads are a dangerous zone so it’s better to stay at home for their safety.

Another Uzalo actor shared his comments about what is happening and he’s not blaming the people since life is tough out there,people are dying of hunger and there are no job opportunities. The actor says he is worried that this people might burn down their studio since two places near where their studio is where set alight.

The sad news never end, it turns out that Durban Gen actors confirmed that they had stopped shooting due to the same problem

One of Durban Gen cast said: “People looted Game that is next to our studio on Tuesday and that’s scary.

We can’t risk our lives by going to work. They also burnt the nearby building. It’s hard.”
