Mamlambo from Uzalo’s real name is Gugu Gumede and she is the daughter of Zanele Magwaza-Msibi. She is hit by heart breaking news, following the death of her mother, Zanele Magwaza-Msibi .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zanele Magwaza-Msibi was a member of Parliament via her party National Freedom Party, which is offshoot of Inkatha Freedom Party. She was a chairperson of the Inkatha Freedom party and was a contender to be the party’s premier in province (KZN) before she was fired by the party and formed her own party, National Freedom Party in 2014. For 15 years, she served as a Councilor and she also served as a Mayor of the Zululand District Municipality.

Jacob Zuma apointed her as a Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of South Africa between 2014 and 2019.

She was born in 1962 in Makhosini in KZN. She is always a former proncipal. Magwaza – Msibi was sick for years after being elected in parliament. She does today at Mhlanga Hospital.
