Lily on Uzalo revealed that she had lost her pillar of strength and source of inspiration. Without revealing the causes of his ultimate departure, she revealed that Malume Ngcebo hadn’t been well for quite a long time.

Noxolo has had a lot of success in the last year; she bought a house and treated herself to a new car worth R 2.8 million.

The photo of Lily Uzalo with former South African President Jacob Zuma at his Nkandla homestead prompted suspicions that the two were father and daughter. Noxolo considers President Jacob Zuma to be her father, but she is not his biological daughter; she said that Jacob Zuma is the father of the vulnerable, and she was able to attend school thanks to his scholarships.

Noxolo Mathula, Lily, a policewoman from the modest Dongwe family, is played by actress Noxolo Mathula, on Uzalo. She teaches black and underprivileged girls that tenacity is the key to victory, no matter what life throws at them. She has faced starvation, rejection, and humiliation throughout the novel, yet she has overcome them all and stays unwavering in her beliefs.

Gugu Gumede, who plays MaMlambo in the SABC1 soapie Uzalo, expresses her condolences on the death of Lily’s father.
