Every soapie/ telenovela/ drama series has got that one ‘boring’ actor whom viewers want gone. Seems like Nothando Ngcobo who plays the role of Hlelo in SABC 1’s Zulu Soapie; Uzalo and Prudence Thabethe in 1Magic’s telenovela; Lingashoni is one of those actors/actresses who are not viewers’ favourite.

 

 

 

 

 

Ever since she joined Uzalo, I have not yet heard any of the viewers praising or complementing her acting skills, all viewers ever do is complaining about her being the most boring actress they have never seen. They even say they don’t see the necessity of her character, she shouldn’t have joined Uzalo because she makes it more boring than it already is.

We all know that Hlelo has now got herself involved in alcohol. She spends her time busy gallivanting instead of spending time with her newborn baby. The Uzalo official social media page recently shared some pictures of ‘Hlelo’ with a caption: “isivukile ke i-sad generation nokukhulu ukuba iy’gqila za tshwala…” Translated: ‘the sad generation is awake, they are just alcohol addicts’.

The majority of comments from fans were like:

“If boring was a person”,

“new version of Zekhethelo”,

“This Hlelo character is so boring”,

“She is so boring, even Zekhethelo was better”,

“Uzalo has failed us as viewers”,

“she is not good at acting shame, she’s forcing”.
