Uthando Nesthembu cast Mpumelelo Mseleku, son of Mayeni (Second wife) and Musa Mseleku has shown elements of polygamy by showing us his two wives on his social network platforms.

Mpumelelo is a perfect example of an apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as he has intentions of taking the two girls as his wives,one staying in Durban and the other staying in Cape Town. Mpumelelo is intending to take his father’s legacy forward by having more than one wife
 

 

 

 

Mpumelelo is just 20 years of age but has two girlfriends already, some people argue that he is still young, he doesn’t know what’s happening because boys around his age have multiple partners as they are still trying to figure out themselves in the process. Mpumelelo ‘s relationship with his two spouses, there’s a child involved called Mhlophekuhle who’s just less than 3 years of age from the eldest wife.

Mpumelelo ‘s wives looks like they have a cordial relationship as they know about each other and are very understanding of their stance and the role of polygamy and their role with their man, Mpumelelo Mseleku.

The son of Mseleku is a student, a footballer, an artist and artist manager, he is hands on just like his father Musa.

The last season of Uthando Nesthembu. Mpumelelo seemed to be pressurized to pay lobola for the elderly wife and mother of his child however the mother seemed to not be having to come to terms with it and arguing that Mpumelelo is still a child and he might later want to reconsider his thoughts of being a polygamist.

Musa Mseleku has always commended his sons to be polygamists and continue with his legacy of polygamy and enhance and embrace every part of it.

Personal opinion :

I strongly believe that Mpumelelo is doing a great thing by enhancing his beliefs and values as an individual and also taking into consideration his family values altogether with his culture.

I also believe that he must be a great husband and father in order to live a happy life with his family
