TREVOR NOAH’S CAREER BEFORE FAME
In the 2011 documentary, You Laugh But It’s True, Trevor Noah took to the streets of Soweto and took a trip down memory lane. At a point, the comedian could be seen inside a South African taxi as he opened up about his previous job before he decided to become a comedian.
“I used to drive one of these (a Toyota Siyaya taxi), on the same route. When I was driving a taxi, I was 22. It’s not the easiest gig in the world. But in the end, it got stolen. A few months later, I got into comedy,” he could be heard saying in a video.
