It is a wonderful day to the AmaZulu nation as King Misuzulu is having final steps in taking his wife.

The royal family made its way alongside hundreds of Amabutho to Newcastle, north of Kwa Zulu Natal as they were going to the umembeso ceremony of the AmaZulu future Queen, Ntokozo Mayisela.

As part of the lobola process, the groom’s side visited the bride’s side bearing gifts for a ceremony that is called Umembeso.

In the morning when the proceedings began, we saw incredible unity amongst the wives of the late King Zwelithini being present. The Queens also acted on behalf of the late Queen mother, Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.

Queen KaMafu and Queen MaDlamini were seated at the front on the sofa, and the Queen to be, KaMayisela gave them gifts.

Queen MaDlamini expressed happiness to see the family united this way and also to see the process of wedding taking place.

Last year, King Misuzulu and Queen Ntokozo got married at Home Affairs and he then sent a delegation to begin a lobola process.

Before the event ends, we saw the troublesome princess Thembi coming to join the Queens and became part of the ceremony.
