The end of Umkhokha has come and left us with more questions than answers, a perfect setup for yet another season of the popular Sunday drama.
MaMzobe was finally apprehended by the law but where is Xolile’s body?
I was watching the finale with my family wondering over one of the plot holes of the show. Nobuntu, who ended up getting killed by the poison, allegedly left behind a suicide note. But it is strange that she did considering she was planning on poisoning the Mvelase family. It could be that she was going to consume the poison as well but it it still a not-so-well thought out plan.
Personal Speculations about season 2
But Nobuntu aside, Reggie got away with murder, well attempted murder, all because of Difa the coward. Difa stuck by his wife until the bitter end out of cowardice and nothing else. He risked everything defending her and I can’t wait for the consequences of that in the second season!
Call it instinct but the way the daughter-in-law reacted to being confronted made my mind go there. I don’t think it was consensual either from the way she was shaking.
I have another fan theory that might be a little put there. I know that everyone thinks that Sphamandla is father of his brothers child but… I personally think that Bab’ Mvelase is the real father.
But the biggest shock of all? Xolile’s body is missing! She died in the first episode because of her mother. But then the same mother took sand from her tomb to spite her youngest sister with a curse. They need Xolile’s body hungry rid of Umkhokha and now it’s gone.
These are the people who I think could have moved her:
• The Henchman…. he disappeared once MaMzobe was apprehended
• Difa… He’s a coward and a liar. He could have done it.
• Reggie… He’s a little unhinged at the moment and capable of anything.
I hope Mzansi Magic will give the show another because I need to have these plots resolved!
